Trip Leader/Contact:
Robert Walker

This trip is one of the most spectacular flatwater paddles in NSW and is only a short drive from Sydney.

The trip is on Lake Yarrunga created by Tallowa Dam built as part of the Shoalhaven Scheme, which is an extension of Sydney's Water Supply and a hydro electric power station.

Saturday will consist of a 14km (3-4 hours) paddle along the flooded valley with steep sides and spectacular sandstone cliffs along the top of the ridge.

We will stop for lunch near Monarch Rock which is about half way.
