A local paddle from the club house for all, during daylight savings. First paddle of the month for beginners second in the month is more for fitness and may go out to Botany Bay. Please RSVP if you intend to come. $20 for non-members. This is the last paddle for the mid-week series. Come join us for pizza and beer after the paddle at 7.30pm.

Easter Nymboida Safari


Easter is fast approaching and the Nymboida is showing good promise for a great Easter safari.


This trip is open to experienced paddlers only due to the difficult nature of the rivers in the area.


We will be basing ourselves at Platypus flat which is a self sufficient camping area for the duration of the Easter break and paddling the rivers in the local area.

This event is not a trip with a set number of km we plan to paddle it will be a static skills session off the beach at Swallow Rock.


It is intended for members new and old to come along and work on some skills, this may be families putting the kids in a kayak on their own for the first time, new member learning some foundation strokes and those who want to work to learn to roll.

A regular Thursday Morning Fitness Paddle with the first attempt Thursday 1st September.


The plan:


Meet 6am at the Club House
6.15am on the water (sunrise)
Paddle for 60 minutes
7.15 Back at club house to rinse gear and back up boats
7.30-8am Change for work
I want to have the club locked up and on my way to work by 8am.
